When I came back into my room in a less manic state, I noticed that I'd saved every single one of Milo's packages to me from England. They'd been knocked off the shelf. They serve absolutely no purpose, other than a tangible testament to how much of a dork I am. Mike gave me his number and asked if I wanted to hang out. But after much ado (ack, it's infiltrated my everyday speech!), we ended up having a very awkward and very uncomfortable mini-conversation about the age difference (which would be...uhh...ten years...) between us. It doesn't bother me per se, it's just that it really complicates things. But think of it this way- if we were all living in trees and trading bananas for necessities, would it really matter so much? If he wants me he can come get me. Otherwise I'll just let it go. Heidi broke her leg. Polo accident. Yeah, sure. JR's taking care of her. As in, staying over, helping her to the bathroom, fixing her dinner kind of taking care of her. Yeah, I'm jealous. So what? Don't look at me that way, I was not thinking of intentionally breaking my own leg. Not seriously. What do you take me for? :) Tonight I was bored so I drove over to the grocery store and bought a whole bunch of absolute utter crap. Like black nail polish. I almost never wear colored nail polish, but... see this way I don't have to clean my fingernails! Ah, it's the simple things in life these days.
